Our learning programmes are based on education content that was established in 1982 and was provided originally under the auspices of the Materials Handling Research Unit of the University of the Witwatersrand, in association with the SA Institute of Materials Handling - a professional association representing the materials handling industry. Then in 1998, the Centre for Logistics Excellence was established to provide these qualifications.

Our unit standard aligned programmes are registered SAQA unit standards in accordance with the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).
